The Business of Raine & Horne in Beenleigh commenced in 1983 under the stewardship of Dennis Wey as Licensee and Sole Owner. Offering Residential Real Estate Sales, followed by Residential Property Management, later including Commercial Sales & Leasing in the growing Beenleigh Township and fledging Industrial precinct of Beenleigh.
The Commercial Division has grown to such an extent that by 1998, it became a separate franchise - Raine & Horne Commercial Beenleigh, later changed to Raine & Horne Commercial Beenleigh – Yatala – Logan City to better represent its growing market area. Our Raine & Horne Commercial office is one of 25 specialised Commercial Businesses in the Raine & Horne Network.
By mid 2000, Residential Sales & Property Management and Commercial Sales, Leasing & Property Management had out grown its single owner and was restructured with new company being formed – Ecom Realty Pty Ltd – now owned by original owner and two new Directors who were previously long standing employees of the company.
Property Management growth continued with the purchases of rent rolls;
2001 - in excess of two hundred properties from a independant Beenleigh Agency,
2003 - 100 properties from a Shailer Park Agency
2004 - 30 properties were acquired from a Beenleigh Agency
In October 2004, with the retirement of one of the directors, Dennis Wey & John Tamblyn were appointed as Joint Managing Directors, which reflects the directors individual commitment and ownership of the parent company Ecom Realty Pty Ltd.
Today, the company has a staff numbering 20 + employees. The company holds all of its employees in high regard and we are pleased by the many awards individual employees have achieved within the Raine & Horne network in Queensland & Australia.
Raine & Horne is one of the oldest and longest running names in corporate Australia, having commenced business in Sydney in 1888 – some 13 years before Federation of the Australian States. The network is one of the largest real estate networks in Australia with multiple offices in all states along with an expanding presence in South East Asia. Total office numbers currently 450.
