Raine & Horne Charmhaven wins gong at major real estate awards
Leading Central Coast real estate firm Raine & Horne Charmhaven has trumped some of the biggest real estate offices in NSW and ACT to be named Raine & Horne’s Top Office Business Growth (number of sales) for 2009.
The team led by proprietors Geoff Bushnell and Andrew Sorensen also grabbed ninth in the hotly contested Top Office (number of sales) category which was announced at the prestigious 2009 Raine & Horne Chairman’s Awards at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney on Saturday 27 February 2010.
“To win these awards we literally beat around 150 Raine & Horne offices from across NSW and the ACT, which is a great testament to the tenacity of the team at Raine & Horne Charmhaven and the strength of the local property market,” said Mr Sorensen.
Also running in Raine & Horne Charmhaven’s favour is the fact it services some of the best valued housing on the Central Coast.
“For a three bedroom home, with a single lock up garage in a housing estate in Blue Haven, buyers and investors can expect to pay between $260,000 and $290,000.
“In addition, these homes can rent for around $300 a week and it is these yields, which are attracting more investors,” said Mr Sorensen.
“We haven’t seen investors in the market for many years and currently they represent around 25% of buyers where previously it was around 5%. They are filling the gaps left by first home buyers.
“It’s an entry level market which means whether it’s booming, or a bit slower, we have a relatively liquid market which is great for homebuyers and investors and is set to underpin the growing reputation of Raine & Horne Charmhaven.”
Andrew and Geoff also have a solid reputation for community engagement and currently Raine & Horne Charmhaven supports the brand new Woongarrah Wild Cats in soccer, which already has 400 registrations and the Blue Haven Junior Rugby League Club.
