Kingaroy on hotspot list for Property
Australian Property Investor magazine named Queensland's Kingaroy in top 10 best property buys list for 2010.
The national list was drawn up by Terry Ryder the director of www.hotspotting.com.au.
"Investors can find much more than peanuts and pumkin scones inf ormer Queensland premier Joh Bjelke-Petersen's home town, Terry Ryder says as it has "evolved into a regional centre with a stron and diverse economy, including an emering wine industry"."
"Several major industrial projects are set to create an influx of workers: a $1 billion wind farm, a $500 million coal mine and a 400 megawatt power station."
" A town with a median house price of $250,000 and projects of that magniture has to see some price growth, ryder concludes.

Kingaroy typical price $220,000 to $250,000. Factors considered were major new projects, government decisions, transport infrastucture, "ripple effect" price growth and lifestyle features, backed by real estate affordability.
