Scott Johnson

Director
Raine & Horne Maclean, Yamba, Iluka

Born and bred in the Clarence Valley, Scott is a proud and loving family man, married to wife Vanessa and has four children. Scott has worked in many fields over the years including local commercial fishing, owning, and operating his own prawn trawler, the cane industry, aged care as an assistant nurse and activities officer and previously in Real Estate as a Sales Agent. These vast experiences alone have provided Scott with extensive knowledge of the industry and the local market.

However, the greatest part of Scott’s career has been dedicated to the Community Services Sector including families, children, and disability services. For the past eleven years, Scott and Vanessa have been the proud owners and operators of Willy Wagtails Kindergarten in Yamba. This has been, and continues to be a very special part of their lives and it has allowed them to form and maintain many strong connections and relationships throughout the community.

Scott has been heavily involved in sport across the Clarence Valley over many years including playing soccer for the mighty Maclean Bobcats as goalkeeper and captaining the Harwood Cricket Team. He now dedicates his time and passion for sport to coaching his two younger sons and their two junior Yamba Football Club teams.

Scott’s caring and compassionate nature enables him to build meaningful relationships with people and provide outstanding customer service. Many would say he loves to ‘have a chat’.  Yes, real estate is about buying and selling property, but Scott believes it is truly about the people you meet and being able to help them navigate the journey and reach their property dreams.
