In 1987 Michael established the Marrickville Raine & Horne office with his wife Yvonne. In those days it was just the two of them and a few support staff. Nowadays, Raine & Horne Marrickville has become one of the leading real estate offices in the Inner West area. Over the years the office has practically sold or leased a house in every street in Marrickville. They have excelled in sales, leasing, and property management across all areas of real estate; residential, commercial and industrial. Michael and his sons, Luke and Nicholas opened Raine & Horne Commercial Marrickville in 2005.
Having lived and worked in the area for the past 35 years, Michael’s involvement in the community stretches from membership with the Rotary Club of Marrickville where he served as president in 2001-2002 and received the Rotary International Paul Harris Fellowship Award in 2005 – to being an avid West Tigers fan and a Justice of the Peace. Michael is a licensed real estate agent and one of the areas few registered valuers. He relates easily to residents, is always approachable and has a keen understanding and appreciation of the benefits that this vibrant area has to offer.
When Michael is not out seeing clients, he enjoys mentoring his staff, all of whom have remained loyal to him over a number of years. His down to earth approach keeps his clients coming back again and again, as they know they can always rely on him to deliver premium results, honest, educated advice and his renowned high level of service.
