BALMORAL BURN

Raine & Horne staff will be among thousands of athletes and fun runners taking part in the annual Balmoral Burn on Sunday 29 May.

Now in its 16th year, the Balmoral Burn raises money for the Humpty Dumpty Foundation, a charity providing vital – often life-saving – hospital equipment for sick children.  The Balmoral Burn, created by former Wallabies captain Phil Kearns in 2000, is one of the Humpy Dumpty Foundation’s key fundraising events. Last year’s Balmoral Burn raised more than $2.35 million for the charity.

The 420m uphill race takes place in Mosman’s Abawa Street, one of the steepest streets in Sydney. It attracts more than 11,000 participants each year – a mix of elite runners, fun runners, school teams, corporate teams and disabled athletes.

There is still time to enter this year’s Balmoral Burn if you want to take on the challenge. Register online here. You can sign up as an individual or family; as a school relay team; or as a corporate sponsor.

Alternatively, come along as a spectator – bring the family and cheer on the athletes, have fun on the carnival rides, check out the food stalls, and enjoy the great atmosphere.

See you there!
