Mossman is a town in Far North Queensland on the Mossman River. It is located on the Captain Cook Highway 75km north of Cairns.

Mossman Gorge, a popular attraction in Daintree National Park, is located west of town. Sugar cane farming is an important part of the local economy, with Mossman Central Mill, the only one in the district, processing cane before sending it to Cairns for domestic and international shipping.

Mossman is a typical North Queensland country town with a distinct rural feel acts as a service centre for people heading further north towards Cape Tribulation.
