Raine & Horne was founded in Sydney, Australia in 1883 by Tom Raine & Joseph Horne. The two men, who resided close to each other in Ashfield, commenced business as "Land & Estate Agents" in office No. 3, on the second floor of "Wentworth Court" No. 116 Elizabeth Street, Sydney. Four generations of the Raine Family have been continually involved with the firm since 1883. Raine & Horne was established on strict principles of practice. Additionally, it undertook to confine its activities purely to real estate management and agency work to always remain as independent commission agents. Today, with so many offices around Australia and with associate offices overseas, you can be sure that there is a Raine & Horne office "near at hand" to any property that is being managed, sold, or leased.

Gary Rossetto is the sole proprietor of Raine & Horne Penrith. Gary has lived in the area since the age of 7. Prior to this, he was raised in the pretty town of Springwood in the lower Blue Mountains. Gary started in real estate in 1979 and began his first business in 1981. In 1987 he became proprietor of Raine and Horne Penrith and over the next few years consistently ranked in the top 10 in the network, and was awarded the #1 office on a number of occasions.

The business has grown to the extent that we specialize in all facets of real estate including a dynamic Acreage division, and area managers blanketing all areas of the Nepean District. These areas include, Werrington, Werrington County, St Clair, Cambridge Park, Cambridge Gardens, Cranebrook, South Penrith, Glenmore Park, Kingswood, and these are but to name a few!
In addition, we specialize in Development, Investment Properties, Property Management, and the acreage market.

Being all under 1 roof', means that all facets of real estate can be effectively coordinated in a team environment rather than having a number of separate offices not working together on a day-to-day basis. in 2007 Gary moved back to the Blue Mountains and in 2011 was granted an additional franchise or Raine & Horne Mid Mountains. This has enabled us to further specialise in the sale of properties in the Blue Mountains as well as our success in the Penrith district.

In 2012, we relocated to a new premise at 1/282 High Street Penrith. Our brand new premises offers modern facilities, large reception, and a huge window display. We are the only local agency that now offers specialist attention in all areas of real estate, something that Gary Rossetto is so very proud of.

Our philosophy is to provide excellent personalized service from one office, with all consultants working together as a team, rather than opening multiple offices in the area! We are mindful of the fact that as professional consultants, we are not only kept up to date with current selling prices in the district but that we continue training on a regular basis to improve our skills and understand the ever-changing face of the real estate market and its regulations and compliances.
