Ettalong Beach is a small seaside village on the NSW Central Coast, south of Woy Woy, and 80km north of Sydney. Ettalong Beach is the natural northward continuation of Umina Beach.

The beach itself is perfect for families with safe swimming, BBQ areas, walking paths and newly built viewing decks.

There are many local restaurants with many types of cuisines including Chinese, Vietnamese, Italian, Indian, fine dining and bistro type menus.

The local Cinema Paradiso shows the latest movies released with a number of cinemas and Ettalong Markets trades every weekend.

Ettalong Beach’s other local businesses include hairdressing, beauticians, clothing and accessory stores and an IGA supermarket.

The Mantra Resort Ettalong Beach is filled with happy holiday makers, the Ettalong Beach Club adjoins The Mantra Resort, and the Ettalong Beach Hotel is just up the street.

There are two sporting ovals in Ettalong Beach which are host to the local sporting clubs.

Ettalong Beach is part of the City of Gosford local government area, about 90 minutes drive north of Sydney. It is a satellite village of Woy Woy and can also be reached by train or ferry from Palm Beach. The village has experienced a population and popularity boom in the last 15 years, with the development of new resorts, accommodation and holiday attractions.

Ettalong’s appeal lies in its beaches, lagoons, waterways and safe swimming for children. It is a popular fishing beach with good boating facilities. Ferries and charter vessels run regular trips around Brisbane Water. Bouddi and Brisbane Water national parks, which are popular with bush walkers, are close by.

The nearby villages of Umina Beach, Pearl Beach and Patonga offer the seaside charm of beaches, lagoons, waterways and boating facilities.

Surrounding suburbs include: Booker Bay, Blackwall, Umina Beach, St Huberts Island, Daleys Point, Empire Bay, Bensville, Woy Woy, Woy Woy Bay, Horsfield Bay, Phegans Bay, Pearl Beach, Patonga Beach, Koolewong. Ettalong Beach is only a short drive to the popular towns of Terrigal & Avoca Beach.

Ettalong Beach has a primary school, with more schools in nearby Woy Woy and Umina.
