R&H Suburb Profile KALLANGUR

Kallangur is a suburb about 25km north of Brisbane. Part of the recently merged Moreton Bay Regional Council, Kallangur is one of 92 suburbs and localities in the third largest local government area (by population) in Australia.

Set back from the Bruce Highway, Kallangur is ideally placed for forays to Brisbane’s northern beach resorts, Bribie Island, the Sunshine Coast and hinterland, and Brisbane itself.

Over the past 10 years there has been a growing trend in young families moving to Kallangur, thanks to its relaxed lifestyle, affordability and infrastructure. Facilities in Kallangur and nearby areas include a Westfield shopping centre, Petrie rail station, two private hospitals and several private and public schools.

Kallangur has easy access to the upgraded 6-lane Bruce Highway and is an easy drive to the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast, Brisbane International and Domestic Airport and the Brisbane CBD.
