Campbelltown is a suburb of Adelaide, about 10km north east of the CBD, in the City of Campbelltown local government area. It is home to just over 7000 people, with the major industry being health care and social assistance, and a majority of workers being professionals.

The City of Campbelltown is bordered by the River Torrens and the City of Tea Tree Gully, the District of Adelaide Hills, the City of Burnside, the City of Norwood Payneham St Peters, and the City of Port Adelaide Enfield.  The wider Campbelltown region is home to about 46,160 people, with the major industry being retail trade.

Campbelltown is served by Adelaide's Metropolitan Public Transport System. The Adelaide O-Bahn is the world's longest and fastest guided busway. It operates within the River Torrens Linear Park between the Adelaide CBD and the north-east suburbs. The City of Campbelltown is serviced by the Interchange at Darley Road, Paradise.

Recreation areas include Black Hill Conservation Park and Morialta Conservation Park. Youth activities include Campbelltown Skate Park, is located at Darley Road, Paradise. It is easily accessible from the River Torrens Linear Park and the Paradise Interchange. There are also several walking trails. The Geoff Heath Par 3 Golf Course is located at James Street, Campbelltown.  Considered to be one of Adelaide's most picturesque and scenic par 3 golf courses, it is set amongst beautiful gum trees with Fourth Creek as a feature.
