Tamborine Mountain…

Look up from beaches and high rises of the Gold Coast and you will see Tamborine Mountain 550m above sea level, a serene and lush haven in contrast to the city life below.

Only 30 minutes to Surfers Paradise, 20 minutes to M1 motorway, 45 minutes to Coolangatta airport and 1 hour from Brisbane you can live in a Country environment but have the all the convenience of the city at your feet.

A plateau just 8 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide it had its origins as a 'spit out' or lava flow from the Mt. Warning volcanic eruption 22 million years ago and is home to a wide array of flora, fauna and wildlife and is proud to be home to Queensland’s 1st National Park.

With an average rain fall of 1550mm  (60”) and temperatures about 6 degrees cooler than Brisbane or the Coast, Tamborine Mountain remains a lush tropical oasis all year round even in the worst draught, it really is the Green behind the Gold.

Covering the suburbs of Eagle Heights, North Tamborine, Mount Tamborine, Clagiriba to the South and Wongawallan to the North, the plateau of Tamborine Mountain offers a wide choice of lifestyle properties from starter homes on 1/4 acres, family homes on acreage, mini-farms, horse properties, Rainforest & bushland retreats, a variety commercial properties including shops, restaurants and tourism ventures to luxury executive homes hidden from maddening crowds.

No matter what your lifestyle choice or budget Tamborine Mountain offers something for everybody.

Many Mountain homes have amazing views from Mount Warning, the Border & Dividing Ranges to Ipswich, Brisbane & Moreton Bay to of course the ever changing vista of the Gold Coast.   We can watch the Sunrise over the Ocean and the Sunsets over the Great Dividing Range.

It’s a safe haven for families with 2 state primary schools, a state of the art state high school, a private college and lots of clubs and activities to keep the small people occupied and with Movie World, Wet and Wild and Dream World on our doorstop school holidays are a breeze.

Tamborine Mountain is home to approximately 7000 people and with very little subdivision possible there is expected to be a natural population cap of about 10,000.  This will ensure the integrity of the Mountain community and provide a sustainable environment for all creatures great and small.
