Kingsgrove

Kingsgrove is a southern Sydney suburb, 13km from the CBD. It lies across the local government areas of the City of Rockdale, the City of Hurstville and the City of Canterbury.

The main shopping centre is on Kingsgrove Road, south of Kingsgrove railway station. Commercial and industrial developments are on the northern side of the railway line, west of Kingsgrove Road. There are also commercial developments along Stoney Creek Road and Canterbury Road. A small group of shops on Stoney Creek Road is known as the Kingsway locality.

Kingsgrove Road boasts a variety of food outlets, gift stores, restaurants, cafes, hair salons and services such as solicitors, accountants and general practitioners. Kingsgrove also has other cafes scattered around the suburb.

Schools include Kingsgrove High School, Kingsgrove North High School, Kingsgrove Primary School, Kingsgrove Infants School and Our Lady of Fatima Catholic School and St Ursula's College.

Notable people associated with Kingsgrove include fashion designer and media personality Alex Perry, and professional footballer Chris Cahill.
