SPRING 2019 SALES UPDATE

Finally the housing recovery is gaining some momentum as buyers buoyed by better borrowing conditions and low interest rates are emerging once again into the market.

Historically as we move towards spring there is an anticipation of new listings coming onto the market, but as we emerge from this recent declined market purchasers are also experiencing FOMO – the fear of missing out.  The bottom of the market has now passed and purchasers know that if they don’t jump into the market now they may miss out.

Recent house price figures released by CoreLogic show price growth in Sydney and Melbourne is in positive territory for the first time since the market peaked in 2017 and this is being reflected with more confident buyers happy to put their hands up at auction and private treaty sales moving forward once again.
