Raine & Horne appoints National Head of Growth

DECEMBER 8, 2021

Sydney NSW (1 December 2021) Raine & Horne’s long-time Network Manager, Tina Ashton, has been named the Group’s new National Head of Growth in recognition of her ongoing role in the brand’s strategic external and internal expansion over the last five years.

Announcing the new position Mr Angus Raine, Executive Chairman, Raine & Horne, noted that Ms Ashton appointment coincides with the massive growth of the Group. “With our network growing exponentially for the past five years, this appointment recognises Tina’s strategic contribution to our expansion, not just to our office growth but also to the internal development of our offices.”

In Q4 2021 alone, Ms Ashton has attracted a massive 15 new offices to the Raine & Horne brand with a host of offices ready to join in 2022.

Mr Raine continued, “Tina has also contributed to launching the ground-breaking R&H Home in 2020 that has delivered hundreds and hundreds of hours of online training to the entire network. R&H Home gets 60,000 hits each month, which is fantastic engagement with our network.

“We’ve enjoyed fantastic expansion, but we’re looking to continue this progress , and Tina will oversee a national strategy to ensure we achieve our growth objectives.

“Tina’s deep experience in real estate starting in sales in 1996 and then in a variety of corporate roles, has her perfectly placed to help our offices recruit more of Australia’s best offices and agents, help top performers open their own offices and help us acquire rival networks.”

Ms Ashton’s extensive industry experience also includes a six-year stint as a licensee-in-charge of a leading office on the NSW Central Coast.

Mr Andrew Brien, CEO of Raine & Horne noted that Ms Ashton’s success can be attributed to her skill as a communicator. “In addition, our principals love Tina, and she’ll continue in her role as a Network Manager which will keep her hands-on with our offices, in that regard.

“Tina’s approach to recruitment, whether it’s a new office, a star sales agent or property manager, is very strategic. She quickly weighs up genuine interest and then brings the suitable candidates across to our network without fuss.

“With Tina’s appointment as National Head of Growth, we want to share her recruitment knowledge and skill across the country to maintain our targeted expansion.”

Ms Ashton, who will be overseeing a team of six recruiters nationally, said she is delighted with the opportunity to steer the strategic expansion of the Raine & Horne brand. As the only female growth manager at a national level in the real estate industry, Tina will also bring a unique perspective to the award winning Group.

“I began my Raine & Horne career as a sales consultant with Andrew Tregent at Ettalong Beach on the NSW Central Coast in 2006 and progressed to Corporate in 2013 starting in Brisbane. This was a fantastic opportunity to lead a national strategy that will continue the incredible growth of the brand.”

While Mrs Ashton is committed to growth, she will continue to support her established office network. “I’ll still be on the road visiting the offices I have nurtured, as well as the leading offices at ground level.

“I have had the privilege of working closely with award-winning Ric Serrao’s Double Bay/Bondi Beach office, our rapidly expanding Lower North Shore business led by Stuart Bourne, who I recruited four years ago and our powerful Newcastle network headed by Colin Bice which has settled an amazing 220 sales in 2021.”

According to Ms Ashton, Raine & Horne’s reputation as one of the fastest-growing real estate networks nationally provides her with an opportunity to showcase the firm’s technology, innovation, and support. “People are joining Raine & Horne because we are the industry leaders in technology and we are constantly striving to attract business to our offices,” she said.

“We were the first to market with Amplify, a powerful new AI digital marketing technology which has generated over 1000 genuine appraisals for our offices over four campaigns over the last six months alone, as well as Digikit a market-first web-based interactive appraisal and proposal platform and Process Plus.

Exclusive to Raine & Horne, ProcessPlus is an end-to-end sales workflow designed for salespeople, principals, assistants, and administrators. It is a collaborative and cohesive process, all in a one-stop digital structure.

Ms Ashton continued, “Innovation is part of Raine & Horne’s DNA, and offices and agents are joining us across Australia because they know we offer the best products and support through our extensive Network Management team.”
