Community

September 9th 2021 R U OKAY? Day.

This year Raine & Horne Coomera held a Community Event down at Coomera Waters Sandy Beach with Cupcakes from https://sweetcakesbykaty.com.au

" R U OK? is a harm prevention charity that encourages people to stay connected and have conversations that can help others through difficult times in their lives.

Our work focuses on building the motivation, confidence, and skills of the help-giver – the person who can have a meaningful conversation with someone who is struggling with life.

R U OK? contributes to suicide prevention efforts by encouraging people to invest more time in their personal relationships and building the capacity of informal support networks – friends, family, and colleagues - to be alert to those around them, have a conversation if they identify signs of distress or difficulty and connect someone to appropriate support, long before they're in crisis. Raine & Horne Foundation

Initially, we might have all came together through our mutual affinity for real estate, but it is our passion for social responsibility and being part of Australia's landscape for more than 138 years that has bound us together.

Our Mission

Raine & Horne has been helping make Australian property dreams a reality since our very first day on the job in 1883 — and with the launch of The Raine & Horne Foundation, we’re continuing to expand our longstanding reputation for helping those in need outside.

Working together to make a difference

The Raine & Horne Foundation solidifies and represents 138 years (and counting) of charitable giving. Dedicated to providing support for Australia’s future well-being, welfare, and environment, each year we will select worthy causes to focus the foundation’s efforts on. The Raine & Horne Foundation will be another way for our Network to work together and improve the lives of people in our local communities and other causes

Alignment

As part of the launch of the foundation, we have aligned ourselves and we'll be helping combat homelessness by partnering with a fantastic not-for-profit charity called Dignity.

Dignity is a charity that looks at homelessness a little differently than most. They believe collectively we can end homelessness in Australia, and their ultimate aim is to do just that.
Dignity can't get this result by providing aid or just helping people who are homeless. Instead, they empower people who are experiencing homelessness, or at risk of experiencing homelessness.

By keeping people, families and community at the heart of everything they do, and providing essential services, such as a safe place, nourishing food and fresh clothes, they walk alongside people on their journey back "home".

Foundation Structure

The foundation has been set as a Private Ancillary Fund (PAF).

We are excited and dedicated to providing support and funding to worthy causes around Australia and committed to working together to make a difference.
