Dapto real estate rookie tops state at industry awards

Leading Illawarra real estate firm, Raine & Horne Dapto, is celebrating the crowning of first-year property manager, Amber Pender, as the state’s leading property management rookie.

Ms Pender took out the award for the top property management rookie in NSW at the recent Raine & Horne NSW-ACT Annual Awards, held at Sydney’s glittering Doltone House Hyde Park.

Speaking following Ms Pender’s achievement, Raine & Horne Dapto Principal Brian Dorling sang the youngster’s praises.

“Since day one, Amber has displayed her willingness to learn and she has been the very definition of a quiet achiever,” said Mr Dorling.

“The whole team couldn’t be more proud of the fact that she’s received this recognition.”

Mr Dorling points to Ms Pender’s commitment to her work and clients as key reasons behind her rapid ascent.

“Amber has quickly risen to the top of her profession, completing her traineeship 6 months ahead of time, and she regularly receives compliments regarding her customer service and delightful disposition.

“Importantly, she also brings a selfless attitude to work every day, which along with her pride and professionalism, means she has become a valuable member of the Raine & Horne Dapto team.”

Problem-solving is another key skill Ms Pender has brought to the table, says Mr Dorling.

“We’ve had a major telecommunications issue for the last six months, and during this time, Amber has calmly dealt with many frustrated clients and customers, in the process minimising the impact on our business.

“This has helped reduce stress levels, and her positive ‘can do’ attitude continually lightens everyone’s load.”

Looking to the future, Mr Dorling sees big things ahead for Ms Pender.

“Amber’s eagerness and work ethic is refreshing in a young person, and will serve her well as she progresses through her career,” he said.

“She never shies away from doing that ‘little bit extra’, regularly being the first to volunteer but never seeking recognition – these attributes mean she will continue to climb the ladder in real estate.

“Considering this is her first full-time position, it’s remarkable how well she has done so far, and I’m very glad to have her working with us.”
