Dean Clements’s dad gave him two weeks after the ‘pens down’ of VCE. Choose a career or real estate chooses you.  There were no lightbulb moments in that fortnight. So while his mates continued partying that summer, Dean became a second generation real estate agent. 

That was over 25 years ago. And to this day, real estate fits Dean like a glove. Partly because he grew up immersed in the industry but mostly because he has the attributes that matter – he’s persistent, motivated and seriously hard working.

Yet real estate doesn’t feel like work to Dean. It’s more like a lifestyle. He loves that it’s not a clock on, clock off office job; that he’s constantly out and about bringing value to people.  That value made Dean front page news when he set property sales records in Caroline Springs, where he was also Raine & Horne’s Franchisee of the Year in 2018. 

Now he’s boomeranged back to work closer to the family home in Sunbury, occasionally taking his motorcycle to the rolling hills and foodie treats of the Macedon Ranges.  And Dean’s been reunited with his first boss (our Director, Ken Grech), the bloke who gave him his start as a rental assistant back in the 90s.

Since then Dean has amassed significant sales experience and built lasting relationships by delivering client outcomes across a range of market conditions.
