BANGA SHED OPENS | GREEN SQUARE REAL ESTATE

Green Square owners and renters who are interested in a bit of handiwork might like to check out the City of Sydney’s Banga Community Shed, which houses a whole lot of tools, workspaces, electronic skills workshops and a weekly repair café.

The shed was inspired by the growing men’s shed movement in Australia and caters to a trend of inner city residents who are indicating they are keen to learn new skills or tinker around in a community setting.

The shed is located in the former pathology building of the historic South Sydney Hospital site, in the Joynton Avenue cultural precinct.
