Property Manager - Des Stearman

Born in Sydney, Des has always been a country boy at heart. After attending Agricultural - better known as ‘Ag’ - school till he was 16, Des was drawn to Granville and life as a Jackeroo. Following further studies at Ag College, Des then went on to work on various cattle studs where he witnessed the highs and the lows of living on large properties.

When the time came for a change in career direction, Des spent the next decade working for Avis Rent A Car, first in Sydney and later in their Papua New Guinea branch. The time came when life in the country once again beckoned and Des returned to the country.

Since joining the team at Raine & Horne Gulgong, Des has enjoyed the opportunity to meet the locals. When he’s not in the office he can be found on his own patch of heaven, tending to livestock, fixing things around the farm, or helping the missus in the veggie garden!
