Looking for a Property Manager ?  Five essential questions to ask

1. What are your qualifications?   Ask your prospective property manager as this will indicate the level of experience they have in order to deliver the results that you are looking for.
2. How many properties are assigned to each manager?  This will indicate the level of service that you can expect from your manager. An oversized department with few qualified managers may be detrimental.
3. What is your process to find a tenant?  A well managed department will have structure in regards to presenting a property to market and finding a qualified tenant.
4. Who owns the business?  Find out who is ultimately responsible for the business. A reputable agency is priceless.
5. What sets you apart from other agents?  A great agent will naturally display their strengths and ability to manage your most valuable asset.
