May Auction Wrap Up

It’s been a busy month at Raine&Horne Marrickville and we’re only half way through!

On 4 May 2013, our office auctioned the property at 37 Francis Street, Marrickville which sold under the hammer for an impressive $1,021,000. It was a particularly strong result for a recently renovated 158 sqm, 4 bedroom terrace with no parking. A strong crowd of over 50 people came along to watch the auction so it was a busy and successful day!

Last night we held our monthly auction night at the City Fringe Auction Rooms. There were four properties on the run sheet, three residential listings being sold by Raine&Horne Marrickville and the fourth, a commercial warehouse, listed by our partner office Raine&Horne Commercial South Sydney / Marrickville.

Together the four properties saw the auction room full before the night kicked off officially at 6.30pm. We had a very successful night with a strong number of registered bidders and a 75% clearance rate, which is great news for the local property market.

  • 131 Illawarra Road, Marrickville – Sold for $754,000
  • 122 Chapel Street, Marrickville – Sold for $655,000
