Applying for a Rental Property

At Raine & Horne Mosman we encourage all our prospective tenants to apply for rental properties online through 1Form. We understand that this is not always possible, so as an alternative you can download a hard copy application form.

To allow us to quickly process your application we ask that you submit a complete and accurate application accompanied by adequate ID.

All applications will be processed and presented to the Landlord for their consideration. We encourage all Landlords to firstly consider the quality of the applicant, demonstrated by an ability and history of meeting rent responsibilities and track record of looking after rental properties.

There are several other variables which Landlords invariably consider: the rent on the application compared to our asking rent / other interested parties; the term of the lease – as a rule Landlords prefer longer terms of say 12 months; and the start date – preferably sooner to avoid extended vacancy.

Once the Landlord has approved your application we will contact you by phone and email to outline the next steps. We encourage all prospective tenants to familiarise themselves with the ‘New Tenant Checklist’ published by NSW Fair Trading
