Avid sports fan Cr Cochrane said she is anticipating the night to be a bit of fun and a great way to celebrate Council’s 125 years.

“This year is one of reflection for Council and the people of the region as we look back on our history and celebrate a great tradition of sporting competition,” Cr Cochrane said.

“Sport is a signature experience in the far north and Council has been instrumental in keeping it alive and well. We intend to do so for a long time to come.
