LOCAL PROPERTY MARKET UPDATE: 47 VACANT BLOCKS HIT THE MARKET IN MURRAY BRIDGE

Will you build your dream home at Hindmarsh Estate or Swanport Heights? Raine and Horne Murraylands can help you find out.

If you’re looking for somewhere to build your dream home, this could be your chance.

Forty-seven new housing blocks have hit the market in Murray Bridge in the past month, to be pre-sold ahead of a settlement date later in the year.

Twenty-eight are at Hindmarsh Estate, an easy-living neighbourhood off Hindmarsh Road.

The first two stages of the estate proved popular with investors and families alike, thanks to its convenience to both the town centre, for shopping and entertainment, and the freeway for commuters.

Stage three will feature blocks of between 500 and 675 square metres on Columbia Drive, Murrundi Crescent, Bejo Avenue and Eva Place – all streets named after historic local riverboats.

Lot prices start at just $140,000.

If you’d prefer a spot a little further out of town, with a little more space, another 19 lots have become available at Swanport Heights.

The estate at Swanport, just south of Murray Bridge, features blocks of around 2500m2 with a gorgeous rural outlook.

Power, water, bitumen roads and street lighting are all ready to go – all you need to do is choose the allotment where you’ll enjoy the relaxing next chapter of your life.

Lots are available from around $180,000.

Regional SA continues to out-perform other markets

Meanwhile, the latest industry data shows that property in places like the Murraylands continues to be a strong investment.

House prices in south eastern South Australia rose by 15.7 per cent over the past 12 months, according to CoreData, making our region the best performer in Australia over that period.

For comparison, prices fell in 12 of the 25 largest non-capital-city regions around the nation.

CoreData head of research Eliza Owen describes south eastern SA as an affordable tree-change market which continues to offer “enormous value”.

Murraylands team is among the best in the nation

Who should you talk to about buying or selling property in this high-performance region of ours?

Why, the high-performance team at Raine and Horne Murraylands, of course.

Four team members have been recognised at Raine and Horne’s national awards recently:

  • Michael Cox: Lifetime Chairman’s Club membership for being in the top one per cent of Raine and Horne agents nationally, #1 for sales transactions in SA and #4 nationally, and #3 for sales value in SA

  • Bridie Pratt: Chairman’s Club membership for being in the top 1% of property managers nationally, and #1 property manager in SA

  • Milaina Gregory: Best new property manager in SA

  • John DeMichele: #5 for sales transactions by principals in SA

The team as a whole has also been recognised as the best in the business for marketing excellence, number two in SA for sales transactions and number three for sales value.

“Across all arms of our business, from John in commercial, to our sales team, to our property management, we can offer an award-winning service in any aspect of real estate a client needs,” Michael says.
