1/ Rent Payments- Over the Christmas period, it will be no surprise that you will have additional expenses and financial pressures. It’s important that you plan ahead for these to ensure your rent is paid up to date. The best way to do this is to set up a direct debit and ensuring that there is money in your account on the day that the debit it due.

2/ Lawns & Gardens- If you are planning on heading away over the Christmas period please remember that your lawns and gardens don’t stop growing. It’s your responsibility to organise to have them maintained. If you are struggling with this then please call call your managing agent as they will be able to help with contact numbers.

3/ Security- If you’re lucky enough to be heading away this Christmas, have a great time! Just be sure to take some time out before you leave to ensure your home is secure and safe from intruders.  Follow these 6 simple steps and enjoy your break with peace of mind that your home is secure.

• Ensure all doors and windows are secure before leaving. Double check each lock
• Place all valuables out of sight and close blinds
• Check your sensor lights are working
• Ensure garden tools and ladders are secured inside, these may be used to break in
• Remove all keys from window locks and sliding doors
• Have someone bring in your bins, mail and papers, if left out it will indicate that you are away
