Muswellbrook property manager wins a trip to Hollywood
Popular local property manager and Elvis Presley fan, Gail Collins from Raine & Horne Muswellbrook is off to Hollywood for 10 days in 2015 after winning a major prize from leading property group Raine & Horne.
Mrs Collins was the lucky winner of Raine & Horne’s Ride All Stars internal incentive program, awarded to the real estate group’s very best property managers and administrators.
In a special event held at the Mercedes-Benz Sydney showroom in Sydney last week, Angus Raine, Executive Chairman and CEO of Raine & Horne announced Mrs Collins as the winner of the Ride All Stars prize for property managers which includes airfares for two to Hollywood plus $1,000 in spending money.
“I couldn’t believe it when Angus Raine rang me with the news,” said Mrs Collins.
“It was like all my Christmas’ had come at once and I can’t wait to see all Hollywood’s major tourist attractions such as Universal Studios and the famous Walk of Fame.
“As an Elvis Presley fan, a photo with the King’s star is definitely on the Hollywood bucket list.”
Mrs Collins was also thrilled that Angus Raine, a regular visitor to Muswellbrook, was able to ring her personally from the Mercedes Centre, with the good news.
“I’m very impressed that the CEO of a major real estate group such as Raine & Horne takes the time to visit us so regularly,” said Mrs Collins, who spent eight years with another major property group before joining Raine & Horne.
“Angus’ hands-on approach is amazing and it makes you feel good when he walks in and calls you by name. It’s indicates what Raine & Horne is like.”
“It’s important to see the CEO in person as it shows that he is willing to build a relationship with all the offices and their employees.”
Grant Jupe, Principal of Raine & Horne Muswellbrook was also delighted for Mrs Collins.
“We’re a relatively small office compared to some of the big offices around the county, and have only been in business for six months, so to win a major prize in a national competition like this is a big thrill,” said Mr Jupe.
“I couldn’t be happier for Gail, who is a popular member of the Muswellbrook community and an excellent property manager, who represents the interest of our investors but also manages the expectations of tenants.
“It can be a difficult job, however Gail does it well and the proof is in the pudding. We started mid-year with no property managements and now have a portfolio that is growing each week.”
