Experienced principals choose digital marketing leader Raine & Horne as expansion partner

April 23, 2019

After just two short months with Raine & Horne, experienced property principals Frank Ham and Craig Bellette have launched their long-term expansion plans with a second office in Kenmore 10 kilometres south-west of the Brisbane CBD.

After switching their successful Toowong firm after almost 8,000 days with another network in February, Raine & Horne Kenmore enables the experienced duo to realise their twin goals of business expansion and owning multiple offices servicing the western region of Brisbane.

“Opening in Kenmore is the first step in our expansion plans, which are fully supported by Raine & Horne,” says Mr Ham.

“We are seeking to service suburbs from the inner west out to the middle and outer ring of Brisbane. For example, our new office will enable us to service the second and third homebuyer markets, who are attracted to the freestanding homes that dominate in Kenmore and surrounding suburbs. These properties sell for a median price of around $705,000.

“Likewise, Kenmore is located close to Brookfield and Pullenvale and this enables us to service the luxury acreage market valued between $1 million- $4 million.”

Mr Ham says office expansion is the natural next step for Mr Bellette and himself. “Over several years we deliberated the next steps in our journey as business owners.

“We weren’t unhappy with our previous network, but we couldn’t see the logical pathway for our business. So, the changeover to Raine & Horne enables us to achieve our plans for the future, which includes office expansion.”

Apart from office growth, moving to Raine & Horne has positively influenced the culture at the Toowong real estate firm. “Many of my staff have been with me for many years and so the change has brought a breath of fresh air.

“We have also been able to demonstrate that our new brand enables us to expand our business, which provides our staff with more opportunities.”

The 136-year-old real estate Superbrand’s commitment to the latest technology has also played a significant part in to expansion of the new firm.

Raine & Horne has invested heavily in Amplify, a digital platform enabling properties to be marketed across social media platforms such as Facebook and LinkedIn. In addition, the global property group has launched Digikit, a ground-breaking appraisal and listing application enabling property managers and sales agents create tailored, professional marketing documents within minutes, which can be sent to potential vendors, investors and landlords with the click of a button.

“The office we have acquired in Kenmore has a successful sales team that we were determined to retain,” said Mr Ham.

“So, I sent the team at Kenmore a copy of the Digikit appraisal I had generated. They all agreed that Digikit was an outstanding innovation, and this helped convince them all to stay with us and operate under the new brand.

“We will continue to use Digikit and Amplify as part of our recruitment drive, as you need to offer sales agents tools that they can’t get elsewhere.”
