FLORAVILLA…..A Brief History.
Established in 1982, FLORAVILLA is proudly operated by the original owner and has become one of the Daintree’s favorite icons.
Initially, Floravilla was known for its famous Rainforest Scone however, as demand for the Betty’s cooking increased, a licenced al fresco restaurant was opened & operated successfully for many years.
Since then, Floravilla has developed their main stay business of Biodynamic Organic Ice Cream which is made onsite and recognised nationally. Biodynamics is a holistic form of organics and Floravilla uses the locally produced Mungalli Biodynamic Organic Dairy products to create their ice cream which, added to the fact that they are ‘made in the Daintree’, their appeal is increased. So much so that a wholesale market wouldn’t be that far away….
