The REIQ’s new website reiq.com was successfully launched to the public on 1 September and now has about 79,000 listings, which include residential and commercial properties for sale and lease as well as businesses for sale. This makes reiq.com the single largest Queensland-based property listing website.

So far about 85 per cent of REIQ accredited agencies have subscribed to reiq.com with more joining daily. Meanwhile, about 1,200 consumers have also joined the My REIQ property alerts service. The website is generating a positive response amongst member subscribers with several agents telling us they have secured sales through enquiries from the website.

The website will feature a number of new tools in coming months including enhancements to the surrounding suburb search as well as a redesign of the commercial and business section which will include enhanced search functionality.
