Zinc restaurant at Port Douglas the best in the Far North

THERE'S something special about Zinc at Port Douglas, and it's not on the menu.

Sure, their beef is among the best in town and they’ve developed a reputation for their goats cheese souffle.

But, according to manager Terry Collins, it’s the experience of dining at Zinc that customers remember the most.

The Port Douglas favourite was named the Far North’s best restaurant on Monday night when the annual Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence were announced in Cairns.
