Raine & Horne cycles to the top with next stage of its SA expansion

September 20, 2019

Celebrated for its arduous hill climb stage of the Santos Tour Down Under every January, Willunga, south of Adelaide, is now home to another Australian tradition, global Superbrand, Raine & Horne.

Raine & Horne Willunga, which is led by David Gray, neatly enhances the international firm’s expanding office network in South Australia. The 136-year-old real estate firm opened an office in Kurralta Park earlier in 2019.

“The new office complements our offices at McLaren Vale, Meadows, Strathalbyn and Victor Harbor. It’s a jigsaw piece that wedges perfectly into the middle of those existing offices,” said James Trimble, General Manager Raine & Horne.

The new office opens at a time when the duplication of the Victor Harbor section of the South Road to McLaren Vale is finalised.

“Strategically, Willunga is just 40 kilometres from Adelaide, which makes it accessible but also allows homeowners to enjoy the nearby lifestyle delights.”

These attractions include the world-famous McLaren Vale wine territory, as well as the region’s many festivals such as the Willunga Farmers Market and the Tour Down Under.

Mr Trimble continued, “The picture-perfect Willunga has gorgeous high streets, great cafes, bars, and pizzerias. It’s a great place to live.”

Mr Gray, also Principal of Raine & Horne McLaren Vale, said opening a second office within the global real estate network is a logical decision, which will assist local property consumers

“We have been able to service Willunga from McLaren Vale, but this is an opportunity to spread our wings and become more visible in the town.

“Opening with Raine & Horne is a logical step. I am delighted with the firm’s management group, and its commitment to cutting-edge technology, training, services, and support.”

Local sales ace Corey Michelmore will lead the new office. Mr Michelmore has worked for Mr Gray for several years and formerly owned a real estate office in Willunga

“In Corey, who is a Willunga local, residents have access to an agent with in-depth knowledge of the real estate local market, noted Mr Gray.

“Our new office gives Willunga residents more real estate choice and access to a brand that they are familiar with. Raine & Horne has been servicing this region for over 40 years. We will to build on this experience and brand awareness in the future.”
