Ashbourne is a small town in South Australia situated roughly half way between Meadows and Goolwa, approximately 14 kilometres from the town of Strathalbyn. At the 2006 census, Ashbourne had a population of 310. From Strathalbyn take the beautiful scenic drive through archways of stately gums to the Ashbourne area. Here fresh produce can often be purchased from roadside stalls and bushwalkers can explore the unspoilt scrubland of Cox Scrub Conservation Park. Take your time to explore Ashbourne's country roadways for some stunning country scenery. There is also a small school, Eastern Fleurieu School Ashborne Campus.
