Oxenford is a suburb of the Gold Coast in Queensland, 57km south of Brisbane and 21km north-west of Surfers Paradise.

Oxenford is part of the Gold Coast City Council area. It had a population of just over 9000 at the 2006 census. It is bordered to the north by the Coomera River and to the east by the Pacific Motorway. It is home to popular theme parks Warner Bros. Movie World and Wet'n'Wild Water World. The parks are one of the area’s major employers.

Oxenford features mainly single detached dwellings and residential parkland. Acreage properties are available, as well as waterfront homes along the Coomera River at Coomera Rivage, and lakeside homes at Regatta Waters.

Studio Village is at the suburb’s southern end and offers a variety of residential dwellings including freestanding homes, townhouses, duplexes and apartments.

Several public and private schools serve the area. Other facilities include medical centres, child care centres, sporting clubs, recreational facilities and shopping complexes, including supermarkets and restaurants. Two major shopping complexes are planned.

Famous for its sun, surf and sand, the wider region of the Gold Coast City stretches along 57km of coastline, extending from Brisbane to the NSW border, including Surfers Paradise. The region has a steadily growing population of more than 500,000 and is known for its beachfront esplanades, shopping precincts, theme parks, restaurants and 40 patrolled beaches.

Gold Coast City and Brisbane have been jointly identified as one of the most desirable places in the world to live, ranked on political, social, economic and environmental factors, plus personal safety and health.

The wider Gold Coast area boasts a climate conducive to open-air activities including al fresco dining, with more than 500 restaurants to choose from. For leisure activities, there are more than 40 resort, public and private golf courses.

The region is serviced by the Gold Coast International Airport, with frequent domestic and international services. Brisbane's International Airport also provides links with the United States and Europe.

There is a wide variety of schools and tertiary education as well as access to several major hospitals.
