Belmont is a suburb of Perth, WA located about 7km east ofthe CBD on the southern bank of the Swan River. Its local government area isthe City of Belmont.

The western part of the suburb is primarily industrial andcommercial, while the east and north are more residential, with various motelsand other accommodation along the Great Eastern Highway on the suburb'snorth-western boundary.

Residents enjoy all the benefits of living in such closeproximity to a capital city, including being near some of Perth’s bestrestaurants and attractions, hospitals and other amenities.

Relatively affordable land and proximity to air, rail androad transport attracts both residents and businesses to Belmont. The city’sresidential sector is going through a significant level of redevelopment andimprovement, bringing an increased population.
