Tailem Bend is a town on the Murray River in South Australia, about 100km east of Adelaide. It is the northern gateway to the Limestone Coast and a commercial centre for the surrounding area, with junction on both the railway and highways linking Adelaide to Melbourne.

A lower Murray town at the junction of the Dukes and Princes Highways in South Australia's Big River Country, Tailem Bend is dominated by the river and the railway. The Tailem Bend Ferry, a cable ferry, operates across the river to Jervois. Major industries in the area include pig farming, dairying, and grain growing.

Tailem Bend is also the head office of the Coorong District Council, with two smaller offices at Meningie and Tintinara.

Tailem Bend District Hospital, part of the Coorong Health Service, provides aged care and medical facilities to Tailem Bend and the surrounding areas.

The town is serviced by Tailem Bend Primary School, which caters from Kindergarten to Year 7.

Festivals include the Murrayland Music Festival, an annual three-day day event including live performances from many well known artists and activities for young and old.

Other attractions include the Old Tailem Town Historical Village and Museum.
