Why Two Wells

 

Two Wells as the name suggests – our early settlers used two aboriginal wells in the region as a fresh water source.

Today, an eclectic mix of residential living, high income, intensive Agriculture, Industry, and the rich productive plains for cropping, sheep and cattle.

Virginia and Angle-Vale are now well established and known as the “bread basket” of South Australia with market gardens, wineries and more recently the 60 million dollar investment into a huge hydroponic tomato growing project, utilizing the most up to date technology. Cereal crops include Wheat, Barley and Canola 

The relatively safe rainfall of this region 460mm (18 inches) provides good stable farming.

The Northern growth corridor underwrites an ongoing prosperous region for many generations to come.
