Key Responsibilities

As a property manager you will be required to develop and maintain relationships with clients, which will in turn lead to business.

You will be expected to seek out properties to manage, conduct appraisals, contact inspections and lease properties.

You will be expected to deal with your landlords and tenants on a regular basis ensuring the channels of communication are open at all times.

You will play a pivotal role in ensuring rents are paid on time and arrears are followed up immediately. Organising repairs and maintenance of rental properties will also be a top priority.

There are a number of KPI’s, which office principals will set for you that have to be achieved too.

Naturally, there is a great deal of administration that is required for this role too, however there are many systems in place to ensure this process is streamlined.

Property Management roles require you to be a motivated, self-starter with the determination to succeed. You will have the full support of your office, however it is expected that you can work autonomously.

You will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills. You must be able to empathise with all people.

Intermediate computer skills are essential. You must have your own transport to be successful in this role.
