Applying for a Rental Property

Tips for completing a rental application

Applications can NOT be processed without all questions answered and requested information attached.  (If a section genuinely does not apply to you, you simply write “N/A”)

Each adult person to reside at the property MUST submit a separate application.

You MUST attach photo identification by way of drivers’ license or passport.

Please notify your referees we will be contacting them, this will accelerate the processing time.

WE WILL ADVISE YOU IF YOUR APPLICATION IS SUCCESSFUL OR UNSUCCESSFUL

Things to attach:

  • Drivers license or passport
  • Rental receipts
  • Letter of employment or offer of employment
  • Bank statement
  • Centrelink payment advice (if applicable)

 

Home owners – Please attach Council Rates Notice or Water account

Self-employed – Please provide your accountant’s details in the employment section of the form.  Attach your Business Registration papers and ABN number.

Students – you MUST provide ALL details as requested on the application form.  Please also provide a letter of offer from your institute and/or Certificate of Enrolment.

Pets – As much as we love them, some property landlords do not allow pets.  Please list type/breed, age and attach a photo and reference (if you have one), puppy school certificate etc.

PLEASE NOTE THAT WE MAY BE PROCESSING MANY APPLICATIONS, WE WILL ENDEAVOUR TO PROMPTLY CONTACT YOU WITH AN ANSWER

IF YOU ARE SUCCESSFUL we will request that you come into our office within 24 hours to pay the bond (your Property Manager will advise you of the amount).  Your Property Manager will also confirm the commencement date of your lease and when the paperwork will be ready to be signed.
