A pet application must be submitted to our Property Managers by the tenant, who will seek approval from you as the Owner. If your investment property is in a complex, or townhouse we may also need to seek approval from Body Corporate.
There are also specific clauses within the lease agreement that tenants are also made aware of:
- Pets are not permitted in habitable areas of the house and this includes the garage and laundry. There may certain exemptions made, however these will need to be specified in the application and approved by the Owner.
- Any damage caused by pets on the property is to be rectified immediately at the tenant's expense.
- Upon vacate, a pest control which includes a flea treatment for the interior and exterior of the property is to be completed and the receipt to be handed in with keys.
