I’m back after a very hectic 5yr stint in Project Marketing with Raine & Horne Darwin after which I took a break from residential sales at the end of 2016. Since then I have spent two years selling land and a couple of months in body corporate management.  A very interesting two years and a great opportunity to operate in different areas of the industry I love.

Whilst in Body Corporate Management a past client unaware of my changes rang me regarding an appraisal of her home. It was then that I realised how much I missed selling residential property and helping people through their lives.

I started selling residential real estate in Darwin April 1994 over the 20 odd years I’ve enjoyed good times and I’ve laboured through bad times just like my clients, we all own homes.

Darwin is unique as it’s a capital City the size of a town. It’s been bombed, blown away and now suffering the effects of a general economic downturn but Darwin is resilient and will recover. Those of you watching the real estate market may have noticed the increasing number of properties selling in recent times. Whilst prices haven’t increased they seemed to have stabilised and optimistic purchasers are seizing the opportunity and buying with confidence for future gains. Many vendors are taking the opportunity to restructure and reposition themselves to take advantage of the potential upside in the market.

As a long term Territorian, home owner and father of three Territorians I have invested my future in the NT. I have seen greater Darwin grow tremendously over the past 20 years and now it’s time to catch our breath, knuckle down and take control of our future so we can make the territory great again.

These are tough times. For some of us they are challenges and for some they are opportunities. Territorians call for many things and at the top of the list is honesty and compassion which are two things extremely important to me.

I came back to real estate sales to help people move, upgrade and invest hopefully not too many of you will jump on a plane. If you are buying or selling or would like to know more about the Darwin Real estate market give me a call on 0424 181 530 or email [email protected].
