Sales star ranks among the top three female agents on the Lower North Shore

July 8, 2025

Raine & Horne Lower North Shore’s Rebecca Mitchell has been recognised by REB as one of the top three female agents on Sydney’s prestigious Lower North Shore[i]—a testament to her outstanding results, client dedication, and the strength of the team supporting her.

Ms Mitchell placed 41st in the 2025 REB Top 50 Women in Real Estate ranking, further cementing her reputation as one of Australia’s leading agents nationwide.

This national industry recognition reinforces Ms Mitchell’s standing as one of Australia’s top-performing agents. It follows her being named Raine & Horne’s number one agent in NSW for Gross Commission Income (GCI) in 2024, as well as placing in the top five for total sales across the state.

Reflecting on the milestone, Ms Mitchell said, “It’s lovely to be recognised, but this is not just my award—it belongs to my entire team. Real estate at this level is a team effort, and I’m proud to work alongside people whose values and commitment match mine.”

Ms Mitchel’s standout moment in 2024 came with selling a Lane Cove home that a regional NSW farmer had inherited. Ms Mitchell achieved a price well above the vendor’s expectations.

Ms Michell said, “The vendor told me, ‘You’ve got no idea what a difference this makes—I can feed my animals forever.’

“Making that kind of impact and making a difference in someone’s life is why I do what I do.”

A big believer in processes, Ms Mitchell has transformed her business over the past year. She introduced quarterly price updates using digital tools such as Realtair, while utilising offshore staffing support from Wingman to ensure consistent communication with clients in her core area.

“I’ve focused more than ever on nurturing relationships in my patch, and the results over the past year speak for themselves.”

Ms Mitchell also credits her success to the support of her high-performing team, which includes Simone Date-Chong, Tom Johnston, and Clare Gray. “Each plays a crucial role—from prospecting and client care to keeping me organised.”

Driven by a strong and supportive leader

Ms Mitchell’s journey with Raine & Horne Lower North Shore started in 2017 under the leadership of award-winning Principal Stuart Bourne.

Back then, the business operated solely from its Lane Cove office—today, Raine & Horne Lower North Shore has expanded to include offices in Northbridge, Mosman, and Willoughby alongside its original Lane Cove location.

“Stu has been incredibly supportive throughout my journey. I’ve been working with him for about eight years, and we’ve come a long way together,” Ms Mitchell said.

“I still remember our first Raine & Horne awards night—no trophies, just dreams. The next year, I placed 10th in New South Wales for GCI, and I said to him, “One day, we’re going to crack the top three.”

Fast forward to this year—Raine & Horne Lower North Shore claimed the number one spot in NSW for the Number of Sales Transactions and was narrowly edged out by Raine & Horne Double Bay/Bondi Beach in the Office GCI category.

Ms Mitchell added, “Fittingly, I was also named Raine & Horne’s top agent by GCI for 2024, which happened on International Women’s Day. It was such a powerful, full-circle moment.”

Her success is redefining what strong leadership looks like in real estate—proving that authenticity and empathy can drive exceptional results.

“I focus on building genuine relationships, not pushing for a quick win,” Ms Mitchell said. “Taking an honest, calm approach has helped me achieve results I’m genuinely proud of.”
