When I was a kid, I always wanted to be a “backup dancer”. Sure, I used to like dancing but to me, being a backup dancer was really about finding a way to express yourself, put a smile on people’s faces and be part of a team of people with a common goal of producing an impressive and highly choreographed performance. In a strange way this sums up why I love working in Property Management and being part of the team at Raine & Horne Green Square.
I’ve worked in Customer & Client Service since I started my career and it didn’t take long for me to realise that it’s exactly where I’m meant to be; I love being in a position to help people as a trusted part of their lives. At work and in my personal life, I have always been someone that people turn to for advice that gets ‘straight to the point’. Open and honest communication can sometimes be difficult, but my experience has taught me that it’s always the right approach and people ultimately trust and appreciate it.
I love new experiences and meeting new people, and believe every person and every situation has value and teaches you things about the world and yourself. Property Management puts me in the fortunate position of meeting hundreds of people every year from all different walks of life; it is such a valuable form of education! But the biggest fist pump for me is helping these people to solve their problems. I love using my creativity and tenacity to get to the bottom of an issue and create a win-win for an owner or tenant. I feel very fortunate to have a job where I can do this for people each and every day.
