Melton is now home to Harness Racing, with the opening of Tabcorp Park in 2009.  Melton is fast growing a reputation as one of the premier equine municipalities in the country.

 With Special events scheduled all year long there is always plenty to do. We also have plenty of things to keep you active like, bush walking. The Djerriwarrh Festival is our biggest annual event attracting thousands of residents and visitors.
