SEO spike lands Raine & Horne at the top of the Google search pages

March 30, 2022

Raine & Horne has hit the front of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) among the major agency groups and is fuelling the Superbrand’s strategic office expansion goals.

Over the last 12 months, organic search engine traffic to the Raine & Horne websites has increased by 26% year on year.

Mr Andrew Brown, Chief Technology Officer, Raine & Horne, said, “Throughout the COVID-19 period, we never stopped seeking new ways to drive innovation in our business. One of these imperatives has been improving our SEO strategy.

“As the economy continues to gain momentum, the SEO improvements will enable our existing offices to attract more appraisals, listings and sales, as well as supporting our Group’s office recruitment goals.”

In 2021 over 22 offices joined the Raine & Horne Group across Australia and at least 12 offices will join the Group in Q1 2022 across Australia.

 Fine-tuning search engine optimisation

Rather than trying to outrank the real estate portals, Mr Brown’s said Raine & Horne’s goal has always been to be the first agency group when consumers use Google for property-related searches.

“Under specific keywords, we’re coming up Number 1. We’ve achieved these results by focusing on some strategic keyword searches, which have contributed to our SEO results.

“We have worked on restructuring and recoding our website, as well as producing more quality content that is attracting more eyeballs to our offices’ webpages.

“Moreover, the work we have been doing at Corporate on SEO optimisation means our offices can get on with the job of landing more appraisals and listings, while their competitors are spending money to catch up.”

Mr Brown continued, “Our SEO results are also supporting our office growth strategy. Routinely members of our network management team are asked in prospect meetings about our SEO strategy and positioning, and now with these results, they can answer these questions with confidence.”

 Amplifying search engine optimisation

Ms Tina Ashton, National Head of Growth & Network Manager at Raine & Horne, agreed, “Many independents are joining us because our search engine results are putting them on the shopping list when vendors decide to sell.

“Better still, our organic search engine optimisation is working hand-in-glove with our exclusive paid search tool Amplify to drive more traffic to our websites while also increasing leads to our offices.”
