Zuccoli Aspire celebrates the delivery of 500 titled lots

October 8, 2018

Demonstrating that owner-occupiers respond to quality, affordable real estate in Darwin, the 500th fully titled lot at Zuccoli Aspire, has been delivered in a turbo-charged 2.5 years by local developer Costojic.

Zuccoli Aspire, which is being exclusively marketed by Raine & Horne Darwin,  is the fastest growing suburb in the Northern Territory for the third year in a row.  With the development planned over 12 stages, Zuccoli Aspire offers residents a family-friendly, natural environment complemented by picturesque leafy streets, large parks, green open spaces, a shopping precinct, two schools and child care centres.

Conveniently located near shops and only a short drive from the Palmerston CBD and boat ramps, Zuccoli Aspire has established itself as the number one affordable, and high-quality land subdivision in the Northern Territory.

“We promised the NT Government that we would deliver 500 titled lots very quickly, so to meet this objective in just 2.5 years is a major achievement and signals that there is a robust appetite for affordable property in Darwin,” said Zuccoli Aspire’s Development Manager ’s Hermanus Louw.

“We have achieved this milestone during a challenging period for the Darwin property market. However, we have maintained our confidence in the Darwin market and we still have more stages at Zuccoli Aspire to deliver, including two stages under construction now.”

Affordability is proving the turnkey to success

The affordability of Zuccoli Aspire, where owner-occupiers can move into a turnkey solution for as little as $450,000, has set the development apart from its rivals, according to Mr Louw.

He explains, “Before Zuccoli Aspire there wasn’t an opportunity for first home buyers to get into the Darwin market.

“We have given more owner-occupiers the chance to move into brand-new homes built on lots within minimal maintenance in a Darwin suburb with limitless prospects.

“Nothing has been left to chance at Zuccoli Aspire, and we are delivering a very high standard of road verges, landscaping, open spaces, two public parks, with plans for two more in 2019. In total, we will be delivering ten parks within the development.”

Long-term benefits of buying into an establishing suburb

Apart from strong economic prospects for Darwin based on the rollout of ventures such as Inpex’s Ichthys LNG Project, the lifting of the fracking moratorium, and the Northern Territory’s ability to service Asia’s demand for agricultural produce, Mr Louw says owners buying into Zuccoli Aspire early will benefit from holding property in an establishing suburb.

“Once Zuccoli Aspire matures as a suburb, owners will see some decent long-term growth. We have a major shopping precinct in planning that will have a major supermarket brand as an anchor tenant and two quality schools, but there is still a lot of amenities and more infrastructure to come,” said Mr Louw.

As part of the Zuccoli Aspire town planning strategy, the suburb will be well served with entertainment conveniences such as bars, restaurants and cafes, while plans are underway for petrol stations, clothing retailers and childcare centres to be established.

“Moreover, when you buy into an establishing development such as Zuccoli Aspire, the equity in your house grows as the suburb matures,” noted Mr Louw.

“Now is a great time to buy into Zuccoli Aspire as the Darwin market is at the bottom of the cycle. If you look at the property clock, the market is between six and seven o’clock. So, it’s starting to turn the other way and head up again.”

The NT government is supporting the homeownership goals of first home buyers seeking a property in Zuccoli Aspire. This support includes a First Home Owner Grant (FHOG) of up to $26,000 for those who wish to build or buy a new home.

“For southern state buyers seeking to get into the Darwin market, Zuccoli Aspire offers a great opportunity to secure a Darwin property,” Glenn Grantham, General Manager of Raine & Horne Darwin said.

“Darwin is a unique place. It’s the only capital city in Australia where you can get away from it all within minutes to visit amazing waterfalls or go camping in blissful isolation.

“People in Darwin are very friendly, and the sense of neighbourhood is very strong.”
