The Lower Eyre Peninsula Christmas Lights Competition was a great success in 2018.
Raine & Horne together with the Port Lincoln City Band were pleased to present the Christmas Lights Competition again for the region after 4 consecutive years the competition has shown great interest and growth
2018 saw a total of 15 properties register their lights displays that were all around Port Lincoln & Boston.
A record number of votes were recorded and the winner was chosen by the most unique votes by the public.
The people’s choice was 6 Feltus Street, Port Lincoln.

The Voters Prize, Thanks to Mitre 10, Raine & Horne, Raw Meatstore, Fresh Fish Place, Bakers Delight, was won by Alicia Gaston.
She won an esky, some wine & some vouchers!
All she had to do was vote for her favourite display. She voted for 29 Windamere Cres, Port Lincoln.
Watch the draw for the winner here.
Alicia had been visiting Port Lincoln but had headed back home when she got the news. She had taken the time to tour Port Lincoln’s Christmas lights and vote for what she thought was the best whilst she was in town. Alicia quickly & kindly donated her prize to the owners of 29 Windamere Cres! Now that’s the Christmas Spirit!
The winners of the Christmas Lights Competition, Melissa Palmer & Tony Manuel, were stoked to have been voted the favourite display. Melissa & Tony have been putting up lights for many years and entering in the competition and this is the first time they have won. Melissa was keen to spend the winnings on more Christmas lights for a bigger and better display in 2019.
We are keen to support another competition in 2019 and hope to get more and more people decorate their homes, and hopefully businesses on board this year.
