Helen Turner is a senior strata manager, who is renowned for her industry knowledge and customer support.

After a highly successful career in the automotive industry with Toyota, Helen joined Raine & Horne St Marys in October 2000 as a member of the accounts department.

A fully licenced real estate agent, strata manager and auctioneer, Helen, who is popular with her clients for her bright and cheery manner and ‘can do’ attitude, soon found her niche in strata management.

Today, the Raine & Horne St Marys’ strata management division oversees more than 550 managements across NSW, and Helen, who won Raine & Horne’s Best Business Support award in 2014, attributes her team’s success to the fact they are “friendly, helpful people.”

“If you are a strata corporation or an individual owner with a grievance, we will solve it,” said Helen. “We pride ourselves on being people managers first, strata managers second.”

As a senior strata manager, Helen will:

  • set up new and existing strata plans
  • arrange annual general meetings
  • prepare and distribute notices, agendas and minutes and attend  meetings
  • prepare and distribute financial statements and budgets
  • effect insurances on behalf of owners corporations
  • attend to correspondence
  • organise and co-ordinate repairs and maintenance of common property
  • maintain the owners’ corporation register
  • arrange payment of all invoices – and manage sinking fund accounts
  • provide advice on complex strata issues.

“We are a recognised authority on strata management,” said Helen. “We even get calls from real estate agents to check whether our competitors are doing the right thing by their clients.”
