Property Officer and IT Manager
Information technology is a vital cog in the way real estate is transacted in today’s fast paced world.
As a consequence, property market leader, Raine & Horne St Marys recognised this trend with the appointment of experienced Tony Bucholtz as its IT manager in 2011 to support its rapidly growing sales, property management and strata management businesses.
While also a vital cog in the property management team, the presence of an experienced IT specialist like Tony, who has owned and operated his own software consultancy firm and worked in-house at the Commonwealth Bank, means that Raine & Horne St Marys can meet its customers’ needs around the clock, without the need for outside assistance.
As a property officer, Tony, covers all the bases for owners, representing them at open for inspections, routine inspections, ingoing and outgoing inspections and tribunal hearings. He will even jump in and assist with open homes for sales.
The variety of the work attracted Tony to real estate. “One minute you’re at a tribunal hearing, then you’re with an owner, a tenant or prospective tenant. There is a lot of people skills involved, which I didn’t get the chance to practice in my past life as a technocrat.”
A St Clair resident, who grew up in Blacktown, before buying his first home in St Marys, Tony knows the St Marys property market like the back of his hand. Also an exceptional problem solver, Tony will jump in and do whatever it takes to produce a great result for a landlord.
