Blacksmiths is a quiet coastal suburb of the City of Lake Macquarie in NSW, located on the Pacific Ocean 24km south of Newcastle's CBD. It is situated between the suburbs of Belmont and Swansea, about 30 minutes drive from Newcastle and an hour and a half north of Sydney.
